I have been studying eco-villages and intentional communities for several months as part of a writing and photography project highlighting the advantages of contemporary agrarian culture and positive aspects of social interactions within communities. I am interested in your community for inclusion in my project and wonder if it would be possible to schedule a visit – possibly in spring if that would be convenient to capture images of garden activity.
I am not associated with the commercial publishing industry. However, I have been developing a website (Enchanted Waters Magazine) where I publish some of my work. Four years ago I knew nothing about websites, html or publishing on the web so, my project has been more of a learning experience and serious hobby than anything else. I am working on the next phase of my project with the intention of sharing articles regarding the art of life. Specifically, I am looking for pictures and articles on environmentally friendly alternatives to living well without the burden of commercialism. I am also interested in art and people as they express their creativity in their daily lives.
I would appreciate the opportunity to respectfully represent your exceptional effort toward environmental conservatism on my site.
Thank you,

I'm impressed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that's both educative and interesting,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head.
The issue is an issue that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy that I came across this in my search for something regarding this.

Dan,

I just wanted to let you know that for a couple of years now, I have been including some of your blog in public talks I give about sustainable well-being. Even more specifically, your blog inspired what I now call the "Cocaine-Firefly Principle" which I sometimes go into as a tangent in my talks. Anyway, I thought you'd appreciate knowing that your words are getting out there in this small way. I finally wrote up the "Cocaine-Firefly Principle" at this link, for your interest: www.sustainablewellbeing.us/2013/02/cocaine-firefly-tangent/

By the way, we visited DR last April of 2012 (unfortunately not firefly season) and really appreciate the pioneering work you and the other Rabbits are doing. Thank you also for sharing that work on this and other posts!
