Hello dear viewers. Despite what you may think, DRTV is not dead. It’s merely on a break, since I have been busy building a cob house the past four months. With all that stomping of mud, little time is left to capture daily life here at Dancing Rabbit.
However, there is some exciting and relevant news. Life With Thomas, the fifth DRTV documentary entry, is playing at the Hi Mom! Film Festival in Carrboro/Chapel Hill, North Carolina next week on September 5. Here’s the schedule.
If any DRTV fans are in the area, I urge you to check it out. And if any festival attendees happen to see this, I’d be curious to hear how it went.
Expect a return to DRTV in the soon-coming future…

“A generation of men is like a generation of leaves; the wind scatters some leaves upon the ground, while others the burgeoning wood brings forth – and the season of spring comes on. So of men one generation springs forth and another ceases. ” (The Iliad)

Hello: I’m interested in what you are doing and applaud the living with less and being happier for it life. I am also interested in the dirty little secret that is never spoken about. That shameful aspect that gets any worth while project off the drawing board and into the field. Yes, I’m filthy enough to ask about money.
With out sharing all the mess and dirt, could you give me an overview of the basic finances of the village? How was the land purchased? How are expenses met each month and what happens if the bills are not paid.
I ask these questions so that I may be better prepared, so others may be better prepared, and so that we may send Dancing Rabbit a big smooch for making all the mistakes before us and saving us the head ache.
Keep up the good work.
